A Legacy to be Joyful About

“A wise man once said, ‘Begin with the end in mind.’…we are all mortals and will someday face our end. We need to make sure our lives AND our businesses are aligned with the legacy we want to leave. To draw a line from point A to point B, we need to know where point B is and what it looks like. Consider these questions: If there were only twelve words written on your tombstone, what would you want them to be? Who would you want at your funeral? What would you want them to remember about you?…What you want said about you at your funeral has everything to do with how you do business today.” (7L: The Seven Levels of Communication, by Michael J. Maher, pages 20-21)

Tara’s Two-Cents: If your job or business doesn’t allow you to spend your time doing the activities that you believe will matter in the end, it may not be the best place to do your life’s work. Suggestion: make a change now, while there’s still time because someday there will be no more tomorrow’s!

“Office-at-the-beach Monday” is on!

I love being able to stay with my kids, and work my business wherever our day takes us! The stress that has been relieved because of my decision to give Plexus a try is unexplainable…not to mention the fact that I feel better than I did in my teens! I only wish I had started sooner!

Say hello to one of my favorite spots on the planet, Ko’Olina Lagoon #4, aka “my office” on most Mondays.

This is my younger two building their sandcastle! They’re both so creative. Their favorite things to do involve building of some kind. Whether it be Legos, sand, cardboard boxes, or Jenga tiles, I often find them building something together. I love how close they are!

You gotta love clear skies and Palm trees! ❤️

We even got some driving practice done with my oldest son on the way!

It’s a shame that we have lived here for almost 4 years, and we have just recently been able to really enjoy it! That’s what happens when you allow yourself to get bogged down.

This was a lesson that took me far too long to learn! Being “busy” is an epidemic, in my opinion. It’s making people sick! We’re stressed, and we eat terribly toxic foods because we’re too “busy” to do anything different! Not me…not anymore! Life is about choices, and consequences! If you don’t like the path you’re on, I suggest you make a change!

Take it from me, life doesn’t have to be a grind when your excuses are abandoned and you decide to do something different! “Ain’t nothing to it but to do it!

What are you up to on this blessed Monday?
